There are many people out there who make DIY jewelry either for themselves, to give away as gifts or to sell through online stores such as Etsy stores. However, there is a significantly smaller percentage of people who make DIY gold jewelry. Most DIY jewelry makers stick to silver, natural materials, beads and gems and they stay away from making gold.
The main reason that DIY crafters don’t make a lot of gold jewelry is because gold is more expensive than a lot of the other materials used in jewelry making. However it is definitely possible to get cheap gold. Many people are willing to sell scrap gold jewelry so the DIY crafter who is willing to pay cash for gold scraps and then to be creative enough to turn those scraps into fresh pieces may find that they can create DIY jewelry that’s unique from the other jewelry out there.
This is particularly great for those DIY jewelry crafters who want to sell jewelry online since it fills a need in the market. However, it is even a neat thing for people to try if they simply want to make affordable DIY gold jewelry for their own personal use.

Hi there! I thought I could be of some assistance after reading your blog because I too moved to Los Angeles only a few years ago following a divorce. I looked at the townhouses in the downtown area and, while they were REALLY nice, they were also REALLY expensive. I felt it was better to live in a slightly cheaper place and use the money I saved to go out and party. I have a house just north of Wilshire Blvd with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a front and back yard and is on a relatively quiet residential street. The good thing is, it’s only a ten minute cab ride from downtown so it’s a great location to be in. I only rent the place so I do have a landlord to whom I give a check each month. He does take care of problems with the place when they crop up (which is rare) but, like you, I was pretty adamant about having some kind of home security system. In my last home in Colorado I went with ADT Denver who were really convenient and well priced. I found a few security information websites online but had a bit of hard time. In the end I went with an umbrella company named Home Security Los Angeles and they helped me out no end and made the system as simple as possible. My other advice to you would be to check the Los Angeles Times classified section cause they often have a whole list of houses up for rent. Good luck!

The other day, I was asked to find an SEO company for our corporate website. I went on Google and searched San Diego SEO companies and came up with multiple links. I really did not know what to look for as I normally work in accounting but after doing a little research on the topic, I have a decent idea of what SEO involves.
From what I understand, a search engine optimization company will take a look at your website and help to optimize it for search engines. By doing so, it will help the website to move up in ranking on sites such as Google. The higher that a website ranks, the more people will find the site when they do searches.
Part of SEO optimization involves determining what keywords that a company needs to focus on. If you are a company that sells tents, you want to focus on keywords such as tents, camping supplies, camping tools, etc.
SEO optimization packages vary in price depending on how much work must be done to the site and the amount of time the coder must work on the site. Optimizing sites for SEO can be a confusing process, but if you have the right professionals on board, the process can be very rewarding for your business.

So you just aren’t getting the productivity out of your business that you have been in the past and you don’t know what to do about it? You are struggling to find answers that don’t seem to be coming anytime soon. This is something that can be really frustrating and unless you find a solution, your business will have a hard time achieving the goals that you probably set forth for it. So what things could be hurting you?
Perhaps you have a workforce that just isn’t motivated anymore. Have you taken a moment to look at them and figure out how they are doing? If you go with a rewards program for your people, then maybe they will start to step it up a little bit and give you the type of effort that you have been lacking.
Perhaps you don’t have the customer base that you used to. Maybe a new business came into the industry or into the area and stuck it to you. What can you do about this? First of all, you have to make sure that customers are intensely loyal to you. Loyalty programs are helpful in this regard, so you might think of implementing one of those.

I’m finding myself lusting after a total, house wide bedroom renovation lately. I know it’s just because we’re on a tight budget and my self control is slipping a little bit, but it is so tempting. It’s even spreading to the kitchen, and, more dangerously, to the shopping cart. I have a new penchant for going on Amazon and filling up my cart with Le Creuset bakeware (in lime green, no less). I want to buy photo throws for the living room (wouldn’t that be absolutely precious? We could have our family photos on a blanket!), western bedding for Teddy’s room (we could do the whole thing over in a theme, turn his bed into a sculpted horse!) and this funky bedding for Sarah’s room (in pink and lime green, of course; maybe that’s where I got the lime green idea). I know that it is all completely insane and I won’t be doing a single bit of it (Kitchen Aid does make a matching lime green mixer, though). Some research does show that excessive fantasies are good for a person, though, right? Lime green is also a very mentally stimulating color. And what do we have if not a comfortable bed?
